What we collect and why
Walkthrough requests and emails
Your name, email address, company, team size and whatever you tell us, so we can reply and arrange a call. We rely on our legitimate interest in answering enquiries, or on taking the steps you ask for before a contract.
Clients and people we talk to about work
Contact details, correspondence and billing details, so we can do the work and get paid. If you’re a client, we rely on our contract with you and our legal duty to keep accounts. If we contact you about working together, we use business details you or your company have published, and rely on our legitimate interest in finding work.
Using this website
The pages you visit, the site you came from and your browser type, so we can see what’s useful. If we send you a private link, we can see when it was opened. We rely on our legitimate interest in running the site. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies.
Who sees it
Our IT, hosting, email and AI service providers, people working with us on your project, and our accountants and advisers when needed. Some of these providers are outside the UK, including in the US. Where they are, we use UK-approved protections such as adequacy regulations or standard contract terms.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and website data for up to two years. Client files for six years after our work ends, to meet tax rules.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, and ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or move it to someone else. You can also object to how we use it. You don’t have to give us your details, but we can’t reply without a name and an email address.
Email [email protected] to use any of these rights. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
